“Given the current environment,  mental health was a priority for us in our organisation; both in understanding the impact of any issues on an individual and also to ensure our team recognises when a colleague needs their help.  The training helped provide that understanding to all and gave us tools to help us deal with the challenges.”

“The content of today’s session was perfect and exactly covered everything we were looking for. “ – Whizz Kidz (Understanding Anxiety Lunch & Learn session)

Understanding anxiety

Do your staff know where to get help? An estimated 17 million working days were lost due to work-related stress, anxiety, or depression in the 2021/22 financial year, accounting for over half of all work-related absences. This module will increase awareness of anxiety, empowering attendees feel more equipped to recognise and manage anxiety. This session not only builds knowledge but also provides techniques for self-care alongside how to support others. The session includes anonymous interactivity to allow attendees to really open up and feel comfortable in the discussion.

Demand for our training courses is always high during Mental Health Awareness Week (May) therefore early booking is advised.

Mental health in the workplace

Work-related stress, anxiety and depression costs the UK economy some £70-100 billion and 70 million sick days each year. However, it’s not just the financial cost to your business that’s important, but also the impact on your employees and their perception of you as an employer. A good employer values, supports and invests in their staff.

Mental health in schools

Many young people experience anxiety, stress or anxiety-based depression. Ensuring that they have the support and skills to manage these conditions is vital. Some 81% of teachers report that their poor mental health has a negative impact on the quality of their relationships with pupils. On average, three children in every class have a mental health problem.
