I had an official response from them about the support groups –

Due to a significant decline in peer group attendance over the past 18 months, we paused these groups at the end of April pending a comprehensive review.

As a small team running a not-for-profit organisation, that is reliant on funding from its own services and the generous donations and fundraising efforts of our supporters, it is important that we balance our resources.

Given the reduced interest in peer groups, the increased demand for other services, and the wide availability of peer groups elsewhere, we have decided not to reinstate this service at present. Feedback from attendees and facilitators has been instrumental in helping to inform this decision.

Whilst we are unable to endorse another provider’s service, if you are looking for peer group support, you may find the ‘Hub of Hope’- Mental Health Support Network provided by Chasing the Stigma | Hub of hope of interest as it provides links to hundreds of groups around the country, held both in person and remote.

To end, our services are continually evolving; any updates or information on new services will be posted on our website as they become available.
